Bryant Terry is a chef, educator, and author renowned for his activism to create a healthy, just, and sustainable food system. Bryant’s fourth book, Afro-Vegan (named one of the best cookbooks of 2014 in June by Amazon.com), was published by Ten Speed Press/Random House April 2014. He is also the author of the critically acclaimed Vegan Soul Kitchen. Bryant’s work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, NPR's All Things Considered, O: The Oprah Magazine, Colorlines, and Vegetarian Times, among many other publications. Bryant presents frequently around the country as a keynote speaker at community events, conferences, and colleges, including Brown, Columbia, NYU, Smith, Stanford, and Yale.
